missing green

It's not my thing, but I'm kinda liking this look in its entirety. It may have to do with the fact that I am suffering from severe lack of green flora with all these dead trees lining the streets. Think I'm gonna have to go buy me a plant this weekend!

Canned tuna shipped from Hawai'i; the parade we missed because we were stuffing ourselves with vegetarian dim sum; airing out some dirty laundry; Stumptown coffee; our makeshift bookshelf; amazingbeautiful books at work; why aren't there any apple bananas in New York; dessert at the Momofuku Milk Bar; I love my twin

"Most of my works have to do with the value of a material itself:
Its iconographical value; its mythological value; its religious value; the value of its life...
There are many reasons why a material can be valuable, not only when it is expensive."

First priority: See this in person.
Second priority: Own it.

light as a feather, stiff as a board

Wish I could have this platform bed by George Nakashima in my new apartment. Reality is that it would probably be as wide as the bedroom.

Maybe I can settle for one of these fancy leather house slippers by Unu.
Black or natural?
