xexy

Once, a friend said I looked like Xerxes when I wore chains on my head.
He was also high.
In conclusion, I need chains for mah head.

denim up top

My denim shirt with a patchwork yoke wants me to take a seam ripper to it.
And my denim jacket from high school wants me to spray it with bleach.

this mobile confuses me

And that's probably why I like it so much.
Plus it has primary colors!

Johnson has advised clients to focus on quality rather than quantity. Malls redecorated in screaming red "sale" signs are not the way to go, she said, because "if you just give people the opportunity to buy more, you're not matching up to where their minds are." - One U.S. recession casualty: Conspicuous consumption, IHT

why do we pay so much to cook our own food?

bang

they're kinda just like side swept bangs. oh, well.

And the lovely P R I M O E Z A, who has really good content, tagged me for a list of ten things. I decided to do a list of random shit on my mind:

1. Borrow movies from library ($1!)
2. Be more productive
3. Shoes at Opening Ceremony, esp this pair
4. Vegas in April? I really miss my friend there.
5. Another tattoo
6. Subtle pleats on pants at Issey Miyake
7. Big feathered headgear at Ann D and Lanvin
8. I LOVE the number eight
9. Celebrate life
10. Get more sleep

moshi moshi

Partnering with the European firm, SCI Innovations, the celebrated Swiss watchmaker Ulysse Nardin (one of the vanguards in the field) will be unveiling the world's first hybrid smart phone, the Chairman, at the upcoming Baselworld.

Inherently green, the phone pairs cutting-edge kinetic technology with the pedigree of the 163-year-old timepiece innovator. It incorporates a Ulysse Nardin-designed kinetic rotor system into the mechanical and aesthetic design of the gadget that will be hand-assembled under the strictest guidelines mandated by Ulysse Nardin.
- Cool Hunting

I want this phone. And this is big for me because I'm not a huge fan of fancy phones. The one I currently have is old school Nokia sans camera. The back cover has a pyramid scratched on it and is held on by a label that says 'moshi moshi.' Though, this font finder/recommender application does make me want an iPhone. Anyone feeling generous?
