There is a big void in my life and I need to fill it with khao soi from Spices in Honolulu. This particular bowl was one of my last meals in Hawai'i before I moved. I've already tried the khao soi at Rhong Tiam (not enough umph in the flavor; too fancy/trying to be hip interior). Next up is Talent Thai this weekend and I'm hoping to have found my go-to for khao soi here in New York.

amanda - oh it is so good if you get it at the right place! there are a few places in nyc that have it. rhong tiam was ok, but hopefully talent thai will be delicious! i'll let you know!
