Get That Dirt Off Your Shoulder

Took a scissors to this formerly unloved top and now it's loved again! These pants are also a new love. They used to be my roomie's, but now they're my favorite slouchy jeans. She has the best hand me downs!

And all you other bloggers are making me miss fall weather with your talk of leather boots and wooly coats! When I lived in Oregon for about a year, I loved witnessing the changing colors and the shades of fall. I really liked how the red leaf stood out among all the orangey ones here, so I had to snap a picture of it. It is getting a bit cooler here in Hawai'i and it's been pretty windy too, so that's a nice relief from the heat.

Top, Charlotte Russe. Jeans, Levi's. Shoes, Nine West. Bag, Ashley Watson. Ring, consignment store.

What a nice shot of fall color! That red leave is very bright and beautiful.

I love what you did with that top, it's a very clever and flattering idea, Katlin.

It's wondrous what a pair of scissors can do to an outfit. It looks great!

Ohhhh, I can't wait until the leaves start to turn colors. I'm DYING to bring out my boots, but it's still too hot for them.

As for the bad grammar, it's mostly the mixing up of contractions and possessives that bothers me. You're/your, they're/their, it's/its. And the basics of good/well; funner is not a word; and other general mistakes of pure carelessness. I'm usually not a grammar Nazi on the web, but I better not see that mess on papers.

ALHOA! I envy YOU! Warmer weather, sun, beach, pretty big dancers and hula-hula dancers in strawgrass? IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER!!! I wish i lived where you lived!

Wow, you made some really good use of that top, indeed! It's always fun to experiment with the clothes that you stop loving.

The weather is in the 60s here on the east coast. Just right for my favorite fall stuff. Not right for wearing shorts. Sigh. Enjoy the warm weather for me!

i would love to swap places with you, youre so lucky to live in Hawaii! the fall weather may be nice only when its sunny, otherwise its just horrible. you totally forget about beautiful, colorful leaves and the only thing that you're concerned about is not getting wet and dirrty during the rain :)

i like your shirt, btw.

Oh dear, I guess I do look exactly the same as I did in elementary school. It's a gift and a curse. Haha.

You look so cute and small! And there's something really charming about the leaf picture.
