I like the comparison of these side by side and I really like those Rag&Bone shoes.
P.S. I've actually been to Japan (and Tokyo)--studied there for about 6 months. It is a highly conformist society overall, but in certain cities a lot of originality emerges...and then those people form groups. :)

I love how ordinary (ie easy to thrift) the rag and bone look is - it's very stylish but in a very realistic practical way. a lot of people could wear that look.
I actually own two of those tights/bike shorts/sheer stocking things. They were old black tights I used for dance and I just cut them. So you're right! Easy to thrift/DIY.

I totally agree. They say Alexander Wang is all about the styling anyway and I have a feeling everyone has already run out to stock up on those perfectly oversized men's sweaters.
