lunch + wilson + twins

Rice, sesame tako poke, shrimp tempura, salmon pattie, alae poke and ogo poke - all from Tanioka's.

Wilson, our naughty Maltese.

And me and my mom bought the same shirts. Scary!

FYI: tako is octopus, alae is red Hawaiian salt, ogo is a crunchy seaweed and poke is pronounced poh-keh. Now you know. :)

Pokeeeeeeeeeee! :)

I think I could live off of poke. For the rest of my life, I don't care about mercury poisoning.

^^ I'm going to second Hotbot and say I could live off poke for the rest of my life too. I don't care about mercury either!

I just saw a "no reservations" episode on Hawaii. The food looked amazing. I grew up with spam in instant korean ramen so would not mind trying spam sushi although that is not what I'm saying is hawaiian. Anyways...how about this for a giggle. I bought the same shirt as my husband this weekend. Scary!

I'm not a seafood fan, but that food looks so delish.

What a tasty combination of crispy, crunchy, salad-y and seafood-y things! I love a meal that's filled with things of different textures.

And cute little Wilson looks good enough to eat too. Haha! Candy floss on four legs! xx
